Sophie Jane is a proudly Wheatbelt-based country music artist whose roots run deep through dusty backroads and sun-soaked paddocks. A wife to a hardworking farmer and a mum to two wild and wonderful kids, Sophie has spent the last 20+ years crafting a sound that blends raw storytelling, country soul, and a dash of grit.
Juggling family life and a fierce passion for music, Sophie has carved out a space for herself in the Australian country scene—one heartfelt song at a time. Backed by her powerhouse band featuring Derrin Kee, Jay Dorsett, James Rogers, and Brendan Gaspari, Sophie brings energy, authenticity, and a whole lot of heart to every stage she plays.

Debuting our first time as a 5 piece band. What an absolute blast we had! We could have played for hours! We had the crowd up dancing and singing along to every song! We even had a chance to give them a sneak peak of our latest single ‘Dust & Dreams’ being released in June this year.
The Kulin Bush Races
One of our favourite events of the year! Having 5000 people singing back to you is something pretty phenomenal! We look forward to this gig every year and the crowd never disappoint!
Dust & Dreams
we have been flat out in the recording studio and also been filming our own film clip to go with it! What an effort that is!! Trying to be the creative director while also be the main star in the clip has proven to be one very tricky job but we are so so happy with the outcome! ‘Dust & Dreams’ is being released in June this year.
